The specialties of the region

Discover the local gastronomy by visiting the most beautiful markets in the region such as that of Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes (on Saturday morning), Tulette (Monday morning), Vaison-la-Romaine (on Tuesday morning) and Nyons (Thursday morning).

This charming town has a history of over 2,000 years. We advise you to discover unique sites steeped in history such as the archaeological sites of Puymin and La Villasse, the Notre-Dame de Nazareth Cathedral, the Saint-Quenin Chapel, the Ancient Theater, the medieval city in the upper town and its Château Comtal, as well as the Roman Bridge and the garden of the 9 damsels.

Mont Ventoux

The one known as the "Giant of Provence" is located near our establishment. After an ascent, by car, motorbike, bicycle or on foot, you will get a superb view over the whole of Provence. A challenge for all amateur cyclists with a guaranteed panoramic view upon arrival.

Laces of Montmirail

This mountain chain is home to many Provencal villages typical of the region. We advise you to discover in particular: the hilltop village of Gigondas, Beaumes-de-Venise crossed by the small river of Salette, the village of winegrowers Vacqueyras and Lafare. Fans of hiking, take advantage of the many hiking trails suitable for all levels and discover panoramic views over the entire region.

Orange

Less than 20 kilometers from Les Romarins, is the city of Orange. You will enjoy discovering its remains from another era, such as the Ancient Theater, the Arc de Triomphe and the Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth Cathedral. We advise you to visit the city's art and history museum, and to take a walk in the heart of the city, on the Saint-Eutrope hill.

Nyons

In the heart of Drôme Provençale, 30 minutes from Romarins, Nyons is to be discovered, just like its black olive and its PDO olive oil. Several monuments are to be visited such as the Roman Bridge dating from the 14th century, the Tour Randonne built around 1280, its place des arcades, its delphinal castle and its Saint-Vincent Church. For your taste buds: Nyons olive oil, palate olives and refining (olive purée) are on sale at Romarins (AOP Bio).

Avignon

Also called "The City of the Popes", 40 minutes from Les Romarins, Avignon is full of monuments from another time to discover. Spend a day visiting its monuments and all its curiosities, strolling through its streets and alleys with superb architecture. Discover the Pont Saint-Bénézet (better known as the "Avignon Bridge"), the Palais des Papes and the Rocher des Doms. The unmissable event is the Avignon Festival, the largest performing arts event in the world every July.
